Terms & Conditions

Operated by CHUA MICRO TECH 202603162794 (003862581-P)

1. Service Agreement & General Conditions

By submitting a PC, laptop, motherboard, graphics card, storage device, or any electronic equipment to CHUA MICRO TECH, the customer authorizes the performance of diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and testing procedures. CHUA MICRO TECH reserves the absolute right to decline service for any device.

2. Diagnostic Fees & Quotations

Free quotations are strictly applicable to online enquiries only. Once a device is physically submitted, dismantled, and diagnosed at our facility, a diagnostic fee ranging from RM50 to RM100 will be imposed should the customer subsequently choose not to proceed with the repair. If hidden hardware damage is discovered during the repair process that alters the initial quotation, work will be suspended, and the customer will be notified immediately for further authorization.

3. Data Liability & Privacy

  • Customers hold sole responsibility for backing up all personal and business data prior to device submission.
  • CHUA MICRO TECH shall not be held liable for any loss, corruption, deletion, or recovery failure of data resulting from diagnostics, operating system reinstallation, or motherboard repairs.
  • Personal files remain strictly confidential and will only be accessed when strictly necessary for system functionality verification.

4. Motherboard Repair Specifics

  • Motherboard repair entails highly intricate micro-soldering procedures and component-level diagnostics.
  • Due to the sensitive nature of integrated circuits, severely degraded, liquid-damaged, or short-circuited boards carry an inherent risk of complete failure during the repair process.
  • CHUA MICRO TECH accepts no liability should a motherboard's condition deteriorate or become entirely unresponsive during diagnostics or repair attempts.

5. Repair Warranty

  • A 3-month (90 days) limited warranty is provided on replaced general components (e.g., RAM, storage drives, and standard peripherals).
  • A 1-month (30 days) limited warranty is strictly applied to all motherboard repairs and battery replacements.
  • This warranty exclusively covers the specific fault repaired and the associated workmanship.
  • Warranty coverage is immediately rendered void in the event of subsequent liquid damage, physical impact, power surges (e.g., lightning strikes), customer negligence, or unauthorized third-party repairs.
  • Tampering with or removing internal warranty seals will instantly invalidate the warranty.

6. Unclaimed Devices & Storage Fees

  • Customers are accorded a 30-day grace period to collect their devices upon repair completion or quotation rejection, free of charge.
  • Commencing on day 31, a storage penalty of RM10 per day will be levied continuously until the device is collected.

7. Limitation of Liability

CHUA MICRO TECH shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or financial losses arising from equipment failure, repair delays, data loss, or service downtime.

1. Service Agreement & General Conditions

By submitting a drone, remote controller, battery, or related accessories to CHUA MICRO TECH, the customer authorizes diagnostics, repairs, calibration, firmware updates, and functional testing. CHUA MICRO TECH reserves the right to decline service for any unit.

2. Diagnostic Fees & Quotations

Free quotations are exclusively valid for online consultations. Once a drone is physically submitted, disassembled, and diagnosed, a cancellation fee ranging from RM50 to RM100 will be applicable if the customer opts not to proceed with the repair. Should unexpected internal damage be discovered that alters the original quotation, work will be paused pending customer approval.

3. Flight Safety Responsibility

  • All drone units undergo rigorous bench-testing and standard calibration prior to collection or dispatch.
  • The safe operation and pre-flight inspection of the drone remain the absolute responsibility of the pilot in command.
  • CHUA MICRO TECH disclaims any liability for flyaways, crashes, collisions, or property damage occurring after the drone has been returned and verified as fully operational.

4. Battery Repairs

  • Battery repair services carry inherent risks due to the volatile nature of lithium polymer (LiPo) technology.
  • Customers explicitly acknowledge potential hazards, including overheating, battery swelling, reduced lifecycle, and sudden failure.
  • Repaired batteries must be closely monitored during charging cycles and operated strictly in accordance with manufacturer safety guidelines.

5. Motherboard & Core Board Repair Specifics

  • Drone motherboard (ESC/Core board) restorations demand complex micro-soldering procedures.
  • Given the high power draw and environmental exposure drones endure, severely compromised boards carry a significant risk of becoming entirely unresponsive during repair attempts.
  • CHUA MICRO TECH is not liable if a drone's core components degrade further or cannot be salvaged during the repair process.

6. Repair Warranty

  • A 3-month (90 days) limited warranty covers replaced general components (e.g., drone chassis, motors, and standard accessories).
  • A 1-month (30 days) limited warranty is provided specifically for drone motherboard repairs and battery repairs/replacements.
  • This warranty strictly excludes future crash damage, water exposure, physical impacts, battery misuse, or pilot negligence.
  • Firmware modifications, chassis tampering, or unauthorized third-party repairs will instantly void all warranty coverage.

7. Unclaimed Drones & Storage Fees

  • Customers are provided a 30-day grace period for collection without incurring storage charges.
  • Starting from day 31, a storage fee of RM10 per day will be billed daily until the equipment is collected.

8. Limitation of Liability

CHUA MICRO TECH shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or financial losses arising from equipment failure, repair delays, missing data, or service downtime.

1. Diagnostic Charges

  • Diagnostic and checking fees are strictly non-refundable once the assessment process has commenced.

4. Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • No refunds will be provided for successfully completed repair services.
  • Issues stemming from customer misuse, negligence, or subsequent physical damage do not qualify for a refund.
  • Software-related anomalies or operating system errors unrelated to the performed hardware repair are strictly non-refundable.
